Senior Program Manager – Uncrewed Systems (UxS) within HII’s Mission Technologies division. This role oversees complex unmanned vehicle programs, ensuring profit and loss responsibility, schedule, budget, and technical performance. Responsibilities Direct all phases of program projects from capture to completion, including budget development, milestone establishment, and schedule monitoring. Lead program reviews with customers to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Coordinate proposal development, business plans, technical and cost sections, statement of work, and terms/conditions. Negotiate contracts, contract changes, and manage subcontractor relationships. Oversee operational aspects of ongoing projects, liaise with financial management, planning, functional teams, and subcontractors. Establish and coordinate engineering, technical integration, test, and evaluation efforts. Identify program issues, develop resolutions, and ensure adherence to revenue targets. Facilitate team meetings, communicate complex issues, and obtain consensus among engineering, production, quality, and other stakeholders. Prepare status reports, including resource utilization and risk management. Direct program employees across technical, manufacturing, and administrative areas. Develop new business or expand services with customers. Manage program at one primary location while covering remote sites and multiple business functions. Qualifications 8 years of progressive experience with a bachelor’s degree in a related field, or 6 years of progressive experience with a master’s, or high school diploma with 12 years of experience. At least 3 years of program management experience. Military service in the Navy or Marine Corps of at least 5 years on surface ships or with deployed Marine units. Approximately 25% travel required. Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. Onsite in Virginia Beach, VA.
