Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
Location: Elk Grove Village, IL
Pay: $18.50 per hour

Position Summary

Our client is seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Heavy Lift Material Handler to support warehouse and production operations. This position requires frequent lifting and movement of boxes weighing up to 50 pounds, including lifting materials up to 4.5 feet high and stacking them onto pallets. The ideal candidate is physically capable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Responsibilities

• Lift, move, and stack boxes weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
• Transfer materials from shelves, carts, or conveyors onto pallets at heights up to 4.5 feet.
• Build, organize, and secure pallets for storage or shipment.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and production areas.
• Transport materials between warehouse and production departments.
• Verify quantities and inspect materials for damage or discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and material movement records.
• Follow work instructions and production schedules to ensure timely material flow.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
• Adhere to all company safety procedures and proper lifting techniques.
• Assist with other warehouse and material handling duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, production, material handling, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, and stack up to 50 pounds throughout the workday.
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical Requirements
• Frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
• Repetitive bending, twisting, reaching, and stacking motions.
• Ability to lift materials and place them onto pallets up to 4.5 feet high.
• Standing and walking for the duration of the shift.
• Ability to work in a warehouse/manufacturing environment.
