DAPA is seeking a dependable, energetic, and mechanically inclined person to join our 40-year-old family operated vending and refreshment-service business.

This is a hands-on position combining route service, customer relationships, physical work, equipment troubleshooting, and daily operational responsibilities. It is a strong opportunity for someone who wants more responsibility than a typical delivery position and is interested in growing into a leadership role.

This is not a desk-management job. The right candidate enjoys staying active, solving practical problems, working independently, and taking ownership of their results.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Drive a company vehicle and service customer locations
• Load, transport, deliver, and restock products
• Maintain clean, orderly, and properly functioning equipment
• Build positive, professional relationships with customers
• Perform basic troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs
• Use mobile applications and other technology to complete daily work
• Support warehouse, inventory, and general business operations
• Identify customer needs and opportunities to improve service
• Take on additional responsibility as your skills and knowledge and pay grow

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Consistently reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
• Friendly, professional, and comfortable speaking with customers
• Able to work independently without constant supervision
• Strong attention to detail and personal accountability
• Mechanically inclined and willing to learn equipment repair
• Comfortable using smartphones, mobile apps, and computers
• Organized and able to manage a physically active workday
• Professional appearance and conduct at customer locations
• Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and clean background check
• Reliable transportation to our St. Augustine facility

PHYSICAL AND SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS

This is a physically demanding position. Applicants must be willing and able to:

• Report reliably at 6:30 a.m., Monday through Friday
• Repeatedly lift and move products weighing 50 pounds or more
• Frequently enter and exit a route vehicle
• Spend much of the day standing, walking, bending, lifting, and moving products
• Work indoors and outdoors in Hot Humid Florida weather

Please consider these requirements carefully before applying. This position will not be a good fit for someone seeking primarily administrative work, a sedentary environment, adjustable starting times, or close day-to-day supervision.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

Experience in vending, route delivery, customer service, sales, hospitality, maintenance, warehouse operations, small business, or self-employment is helpful. Direct vending experience is not required for a candidate who demonstrates strong reliability, mechanical aptitude, customer-service ability, and a willingness to learn.
