Instructional Assistant IA, Student Support - Exceptional Student Education (ESE) Schools: Pasco County Schools, SKYBROOKE K8, 2272 Skybrooke Blvd, Lutz, FL 33558. Position: Full‑time, 189 days per year, starting 10 August 2026. Job Summary Assist the classroom teacher in providing a well‑organized, smoothly functioning educational environment for students under the direct supervision of a Highly Qualified Teacher in the Exceptional Student Education (ESE) and Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) programs. Education, Training & Experience Associate degree from an accredited institution in Education or a related field. 60 semester hours of college/university level coursework from an accredited institution. Obtain qualifying score to pass the ParaPro Assessment – a condition of employment for qualified applicants. All employees must satisfactorily complete any required trainings. All employees must meet all mandated federal and state health requirements. Certificates, Licenses & Registrations Instructional Assistant Student Support ESE. Satisfactory completion required within 6 months of the following training and/or certification provided by the District: Pediatric First Aid / Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) / Automated External Defibrillator (AED) First Aid Medication administration Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) CPR and First Aid training must be completed every two years, and CPI training must be kept current and renewed regularly. Background Screening Pasco County Schools utilizes the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse for fingerprinting and Level II background screening.
