Sr. Business Systems Analyst

NSCG is looking for a SR Business Systems Analyst to join our team. This role is responsible for communicating requirements and evaluating acceptance criteria as requested. The ideal candidate has a curious mind and enjoys taking on a challenging problem, breaking it down into sections, reviewing the information, and asking the right questions. This person must have exceptional people skills as well as creative solutions. 

This position is 100% remote. 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Elicit business functional and operational requirements including documenting HRC US Army Human Capital Management System (HCMS) activities related to business processes workflow, transactions and/or operational activities
• Participate in requirements peer review activities with system/software developers.
• Conduct requirements validation with application functional users and stakeholders, including approvals by all stakeholders on all requirements documentation prior to development initiation.
• Willingness and ability to coordinate onboarding activities for new employees joining the team
• As directed, create required reports to research, validate, and verify analytical information
• Ensure that operational business process definitions are documented correctly (consistent, traceable, and verifiable)
• Participate in testing software changes for compliance with requirements
• Serve as liaison between the team and the government contacts to obtain needed information or documents
• Collaborate with Project Management Team to gain approvals on deliverables
• Create technical processes to reduce inefficiency

 
Required Education and Experience:

• 8-10 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree. 6-8 years of experience with a Master’s degree.
• Experience and proficiency using all Microsoft Office products.
• Experience and proficiency using Azure DevOps
• Demonstrated technical writing capabilities
• US Citizen – No dual citizenship
• Possess a Secret clearance or can obtain one. Must have at least an interim to begin work on the contract
• Experience writing or troubleshooting technical issues
• Experience working with/in a software development team/environment
• Experience eliciting and documenting software requirements

Preferred Qualifications (not required):

• IAT II certification
