PATIENT REGISTRAR - NORTHWEST URGENT CARE - POST FALLS

Northwest Specialty Hospital is seeking a detail‑oriented, customer service focused Patient Registrar to join our Post Falls Urgent Care Team. This full‑time position will have a rotating schedule, including weekends (weekend hours qualify for a $2.50 differential per hour). Responsibilities include: registration and pre‑registration functions to ensure smooth transition of patients through the services they require preparing pre‑registration packets appropriately for each procedure ensuring that copies of appropriate documentation are obtained to facilitate billing and collections processes processing co‑payments and payments registering patients and updating medical records backing up all incoming calls and directing them to the appropriate person or department performing nightly closing procedures for the clinic calling patients for pre‑registration notification, including copays and deductibles other duties as assigned Qualifications and Preferred Experience Knowledge of basic computer programs such as Microsoft Office Suite Typing at least 40 words per minute Ability to relate and work effectively with others Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong customer service background Prior clerical or medical office experience preferred Benefits Company-sponsored events such as sporting events, BBQs and holiday parties Comprehensive health care coverage with options for Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance (for part‑time or full‑time positions) Tuition reimbursement Growth opportunities, ongoing education, training, leadership courses A generous 401(k) retirement plan A variety of discounts throughout the hospital and community Wellness benefits such as weight loss challenge Northwest Specialty Hospital is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
