this is a US-based 100% remote position (in PST hours) that will start as a 9 month engagement and can extend up to 18 months. Dive into the world of data at a leading technology innovator! You’ll be a key player on a data-focused team, working within a popular platform. Your mission? To tackle data processing requests, break them down into manageable tasks, establish timelines, and collaborate with the team to deliver exceptional results. You’ll be working with product and services data, leveraging tools like Azure Data Factory, ADLS, and scope scripts, and diving deep into the world of Kusto. This is a heads-down, hands-on role where your data engineering expertise will shine. What You’ll Do: Process data requests, breaking them down into individual tasks and developing efficient timelines. Collaborate with the team to execute tasks and deliver high-quality data solutions. Utilize Azure Data Factory, ADLS, and scope scripts to manage and process data. Leverage Kusto for data exploration and analysis. Contribute to the development and improvement of data processes. Must-Have Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field. 3+ years of experience with SQL data processing. 3+ years of experience in Data Visualization. 3+ years of experience with KQL. Experience with Azure Data Factory. Strong understanding of data engineering principles and practices. Nice-to-Have Qualifications: General data engineering experience with the Microsoft tech stack. The target hiring compensation range for this role is $35to $39an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
