Job Requirements

• 2 years of ICU nursing experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Active RN license in hand at time of submittal
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• TNCC preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• Ability to care for adult and geriatric patients in a high-acuity critical care setting
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Administer medications, titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips, and manage ventilated patients
• Perform advanced assessments and assist with procedures as needed
• Manage central lines, arterial lines, PICC lines, and chest tube care
• Interpret dysrhythmias, ABGs, and other critical data to guide patient care
• Collaborate with respiratory therapy, pharmacy, radiology, and other interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic
