Paralegal

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal to support our team across a multi-entity corporate structure. This role will play a key part in managing contracts, supporting litigation, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining corporate records across various subsidiaries. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage competing priorities, and has experience in construction or corporate law. Key Responsibilities Draft, review, and revise construction-related agreements, including subcontracts, NDAs, vendor agreements, and service contracts Track contract lifecycle, including execution, renewals, and compliance requirements Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely contract approvals Maintain corporate records for multiple subsidiaries, including formation documents, annual filings, and organizational charts Assist with entity formation, dissolution, and qualification in various jurisdictions Ensure compliance with state and federal corporate requirements Assist with construction disputes, claims, and litigation matters Manage document collection, organization, and production for legal proceedings Coordinate with outside counsel and internal teams on case updates and deadlines Support compliance initiatives, including licensing, permits, and regulatory filings Monitor and track insurance certificates, bonds, and risk-related documentation Help implement and maintain internal policies and procedures Conduct legal research and prepare summaries or reports Maintain legal databases and document management systems Support general counsel and legal team with day-to-day legal operations Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree; Paralegal certification preferred 3+ years of paralegal experience, preferably in construction, corporate, or real estate law Experience supporting multi-entity or multi-state organizations strongly preferred Strong understanding of contract law and legal documentation Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal management systems Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong communication and ability to collaborate across departments Experience in commercial construction or related industries Familiarity with lien laws, contract compliance, and project documentation Exposure to insurance, bonding, and risk mitigation processes Physical Requirements Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods: Occasionally Moving about to accomplish tasks at a worksite or moving from one worksite to another: Constantly Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments, such as stooping, kneeling, or crouching: Rarely Adjusting, moving and lifting objects in all directions: Rarely Talking and hearing to communicate with others: Constantly Seeing to perform job duties at close range, such as monitors or screens: Constantly Seeing to perform job duties at a distance, such as driving or operating equipment: Occasionally Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers: Constantly Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like: Rarely Operating machinery and/or power tools: Rarely Operating motor vehicles or heavy equipment: Occasionally The ability to travel regionally or nationally: Occasionally Physical Demands Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing: Constantly Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds: Occasionally Medium work that includes moving objects up to 50 pounds: Occasionally Heavy work that includes moving objects up to 100 pounds or more: Rarely Working Conditions Low temperatures: Rarely High temperatures: Occasionally Outdoor elements such as precipitation and wind: Occasionally Noisy environments: Occasionally Hazardous conditions: Rarely Shift work, to include overnight work: Never Office environment: Constantly Benefits Pave America and it's companies offers a comprehensive, competitive, and inclusive set of health, financial and other benefits that support your total well-being.
