About the Position

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, PACU – Colorado

Start Date: November 9, 2026

Location: Englewood, Colorado

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Day shift, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Patient ratios: Pre-Op 1:2, PACU Phase 1 is 1:1, Phase 2 is 2:2.

• 17-bed Pre-Op/Post-Op unit supporting 4 operating rooms in a state-of-the-art, 5-year-old facility
• 80% orthopedic cases (total joint, sports medicine, foot/ankle procedures) and 20% general surgery
• Work with experienced, dedicated nursing staff and supportive anesthesia and surgical teams
• EMR: Meditech; equipment includes standard PACU monitoring systems, Pyxis medication management
• Collaborative environment with excellent team morale and strong interdepartmental communication

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license in Colorado (or eligibility for licensure)
• Minimum 1 year of current PACU experience (required)
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• Knowledge of PT/OT instructions for joint patients (preferred)
• Comfortable with bedside patient teaching and education
