Production Associate

We are seeking reliable and motivated Production Associates to join our team in Chesapeake, VA. Production Associates will be trained to set up and operate various production equipment used for printing, inserting, labeling, and sorting materials. 1. st Shift 6:00 AM-2:00 PM Sunday-Thursday
2. nd Shift 2:00 PM-10:00 PM Sunday-Thursday
3. rd Shift 10:00 PM-6:00 AM Sunday night-Thursday night

About the Role: The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, pays close attention to detail, and can work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities: Set up and operate printing, inserting, labeling, and sorting machines. Operate equipment used to process materials such as statements, health insurance cards, loyalty cards, and other customer documents. Adjust machines as needed to maintain production accuracy and quality. Respond to equipment alerts and error messages and take appropriate corrective action. Perform quality checks to ensure products meet established standards. Verify quantities produced and confirm batches match the order ticket. Manually insert documents and forms into envelopes when required. Affix tags to plastic carriers and prepare materials for expedited mailing. Operate pre-sorting equipment to separate damaged or defective mail. Identify damaged materials and request reprints when necessary. Sort completed mail into bins for delivery to the post office. Follow all safety, security, quality, and productivity procedures. Participate in cross-training and learn to operate different machines and equipment. Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Qualifications: Basic computer skills, including data entry and PC navigation. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions. Ability to stand for approximately 95% of the work shift. Ability to lift and move materials weighing approximately 20-50 lbs. Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays when required. Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment. Preferred Skills High School Diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment. Understanding of basic production concepts and processes. Strong teamwork and communication skills.
