Light Industrial/Manufacturing Inspector 2 PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking an Aerospace Component Quality Inspector, in Everett, WA. Pay Rate: $20 -$25/hr Job ID#: 225552 Position Type: Associate - W2 Shift: 1 Job Description In this critical role, you will support our sustaining business for a key value streams: Advanced Lavatories and Cabin Integrations (ALCI). As a Quality Inspector, you will be at the heart of our quality operations, ensuring that production and quality procedures are meticulously followed to ensure 100% quality for customers. This is your chance to be part of a close-knit team of professionals, where you will be responsible for conducting all Quality Inspection and coordination activities in a manner that conforms to company and H&S procedures. Key Responsibilities Mechanical and Cosmetic inspection Provide Quality control activities including new product introduction Provide inspection services for incoming goods, returns and assembly Document non-conformances and report major quality issues to leadership First Article inspection Skills and Experience It is essential that the successful candidate have solid inspection experience gained in a manufacturing environment. Technically competent, able to read and interpret engineering drawings. Independence & Teamwork: Ability to work autonomously as well as collaborate effectively with a team. Attention to Detail: Capable of maintaining precision in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines. Strong Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication and numerical skills are essential. Familiarity with Quality disciplines including 8D reporting, 5 Whys and the completion of corrective action reports. (also essential) Benefits offered to vary by the contract.
