Electrical Instrumentation and Control Technician

Help us protect the environment and power opportunity under our cleaner, leaner energy vision. location: Flint, Michigan job type: Contract salary: $40 - 55 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors Responsibilities Plan, perform, and document maintenance activities, including compliance inspections, system checkouts, and commissioning support for new or modified systems. Diagnose, repair, and calibrate complex electrical, instrumentation, and process control systems, software, and critical equipment like SCADA/RTU and gas compressors. Read and interpret complex electrical drawings, P&IDs, and schematics to support safe project implementation and technical recommendations. Analyze system failures and communication faults, implementing immediate corrective actions and suggesting long-term repair solutions. Maintain meticulous logs, update work records, and collaborate closely with engineers, vendors, and operations to ensure safe, compliant daily activities.
