A contract position is available near Austin, AR, offering the chance to collaborate with a welcoming and supportive staff. You’ll provide essential speech and language therapy services to pediatric students, helping them achieve academic and personal growth.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid AR Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- AR Teaching Certification
- Completion of Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience in pediatric, school, or healthcare speech therapy settings is highly valued
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive educational environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to school-age children according to individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment goals, and maintain detailed session documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations for speech/language support
- Adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs and maximize progress
