Alternative Ops Transfer Agency, Senior Associate

Responsibilities Oversight of Transfer Agency client service team (Associates and Senior Associates), managing client relationships and acting as point of escalation for technical issues. Ensure policies and procedures are followed, best practices applied, continuously seeking enhancements for efficiencies and productivity. Support business growth through onboarding new clients and foster continuous learning environment to engage, develop and retain employees. Manage key priorities daily, plan teamwork, recruit new staff. Effective management of team and all associated HR policies, performance and career development. Build and maintain client relationships through regular meetings, forums, ensure effective communication and client satisfaction, act as point of contact for client escalation. Final sign off on internal (e.g., NAV) client and investor reporting to ensure accurate fund activity recording and compliance with policies and procedures, including full ownership of daily cash and trade reconciliations. Proactively identify gaps in internal key controls and work with wider TA manager/director group to close gaps, promoting risk awareness and zero error policy. Participate in department-wide training efforts: draft and deliver training courses and facilitate on-the-job training for Senior Associates. Qualifications Good working knowledge (2+ years) of AML and regulations impacting the industry. Knowledge of Transfer Agency policies and procedures and use of ISS (AIS’s Enterprisewide Investor Services System). Bachelor’s degree in Finance and/or Business related area or equivalent experience (2+ years). 4+ years Fund Administration experience. 2+ years people management experience. Experience managing client relationships. Experience with Transfer Agency services. Knowledge of Private Equity (P/E) funds. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel. Salary Range $52,000 - $94,120 Annual (range applies to primary location; may differ elsewhere).
