Assistant Teacher
Location: Squadron Line School & Latimer Lane School AM opening(s) 8:30 am-1:15 pm/ 8:45 am - 1:30 pm (depending on location) PM opening(s) 1:15 -3:30 pm / 1:30 - 3:45 pm (depending on location). Wage: starting at $18.20/hour
Example of responsibilities:
- Assist students individually or in groups.
- Assist preschool classroom teacher in the preparation of materials, set up, and clean up of classroom.
- Maintain student order within the classroom, school building, and on the playground.
- Assist with clerical tasks, as assigned by the Preschool Classroom teacher.
- Develop professional competence by completing continuing education hours as required.
- Assist the preschool classroom teacher in observing and evaluating the progress of children.
- Provide a sanitary environment for students and assists them with maintaining personal hygiene.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Preschool Classroom teacher and/or Program Director.
