Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse - Asheville, North Carolina. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced trauma and stroke center environment. The nurse will support a busy department with a focus on patient safety, teamwork, and excellence in clinical practice, adhering to hospital standards and protocols.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 09/07/2026
• Required Qualifications: 2 years of experience as a registered nurse, with at least 1 year in an emergency room setting, certifications including ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, and ENPC (within 90 days of hire). Qualified candidates should have experience working in a Level 2 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center, with previous HCA experience preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in high-volume emergency departments with 100,000+ visits annually; teamwork mentality; ability to coach and give feedback in real-time; flexibility to work across all areas of the emergency department.
• Additional Information: The unit maintains a strong focus on teamwork and welcoming personalities, serving a multicultural community with over 120 languages spoken. The department utilizes advanced technology and equipment such as Baxter pumps, GE monitors, and Cerner documentation system.
