Description

• Assess patients in both inpatient and outpatient environments and create tailored treatment strategies
• Deliver tailored physical therapy treatments that enhance mobility, strength, stability, and overall function
• Work alongside nurses, doctors, case workers, and fellow rehabilitation professionals to maximize patient outcomes
• Inform patients and their families about therapeutic objectives, discharge processes, and at-home exercises
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and progress according to facility guidelines
• Engage in care team meetings and interdisciplinary discussions for coordinated patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification preferred
• Specialty certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are advantageous but not mandatory

• Prior experience is strongly preferred
