Audit Senior

Join a growing CPA and consulting firm serving federal, state, local government, nonprofit, and commercial clients. We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior to support financial audits, Single Audits, compliance engagements, internal control reviews, and other assurance services.ResponsibilitiesLead fieldwork for financial statement audits, compliance audits, and Single Audits.Perform risk assessments and internal control testing.Prepare audit workpapers and financial statement disclosures.Assist with Yellow Book and Uniform Guidance engagements.Evaluate grant compliance and government program requirements.Coordinate client communications and engagement requests.Review staff work and provide coaching and mentorship.Identify process improvements and audit findings.QualificationsCPA license or CPA candidate preferred.Bachelor's degree in Accounting.3+ years of public accounting audit experience.Experience with one or more of the following:Single AuditsYellow Book/GAGAS auditsGovernment auditsNonprofit auditsGrant compliance auditsInternal control testingStrong knowledge of GAAP and auditing standards.Excellent communication and project management skills.Preferred ExperienceUniform GuidanceA-133/Single Audit experienceGovernment contractor auditsSOX or COSO framework experienceFederal grant complianceSalary - $95k - $125k
