About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, Commerce for the Latin-Iberia region. This executive will be a key player in the development and execution of the region's commerce strategy, with a focus on digital platforms, physical and direct-to-consumer sales, YouTube ad sales, and brand partnerships. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and capitalizing on growth opportunities, strengthening platform relationships, and translating market insights into revenue for both clients and the company. The role requires a deep understanding of the Latin American and Iberian music markets, including their commercial dynamics, cultural differences, and client needs. The VP, Commerce will also be tasked with leading a regional team, fostering a culture of commercial creativity, and ensuring data-driven decision-making to improve execution at scale. Applicants for the VP, Commerce position should have a minimum of 12 years' of experience in music distribution, digital commerce, platform partnerships, or related fields, with a proven track record of leadership. The role demands a leader with strong commercial acumen, the ability to influence and deliver through partnership, and a focus on revenue planning and performance measurement. Professional fluency in English and Spanish is required, with Portuguese being a plus. The ideal candidate will have a background in executive communication, be adept at building and maintaining senior-level relationships, and be committed to the values of the company, including diversity, equity, and inclusion.
