TEMP - Procurement Specialist

The CUES division is the world’s leading developer of water, wastewater, and storm water inspection equipment. Job Summary As a Procurement Specialist, you will source complex materials and services, design and implement competitive processes, and drive cost savings and productivity improvements. You will lead supplier selection, maintain relationships, and use tools to improve performance and continuous cost improvements. Job Responsibilities Direct part procurement. Work within the ERP system to evaluate and issue purchase orders to suppliers. Manage all procurement aspects of specific part categories, such as excess and shortages, past‑due purchase orders, and daily receipts of purchased parts. Support the RMA process for assigned part categories. Track and publish supplier KPI’s. Work with suppliers to develop improvement action plans when necessary. Execute annual PPV activities with the assigned supply base. Document process and procedures to support the procurement department. Drive improvements to reduce excess and obsolete inventory. Negotiate with suppliers to generate positive PPV. Identify potential suppliers, visit existing suppliers, and build/maintain relationships. Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s Degree with 3–5 years of procurement experience. Required: Skilled use of all Microsoft Office products. Preferred: Strong working knowledge of mechanical procurement concepts and technical drawings. Preferred: Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques and ability to read market conditions. Schedule and Travel 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Monday – Friday. In‑office less than 25% of the time; occasional travel.
