Production Associate I

Production Associate B As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen. Assemble wiring and cable assembly products along with other products according to specifications given by customer and tends to machines used to accomplish job. Compensation & Benefits: Estimated Starting Salary Range for Production Associate B: $16.00 Pay commensurate with experience. Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice. Production Associate B Responsibilities Include: * Builds and fabricates wiring and cable assembly products or other mechanical assemblies according to specifications given by customer. * Maintains a current certification on all general jobs skills assigned to the program and specific skills as required (ex. Soldering, testing equipment, etc.). * Reads job documents and specifications to determine material requirements and machine adjustments. * Loads and sets up machines for depending on process as specified on work order sheet. * Observes machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunction.

• Measures work piece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation.
• Performs minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, dies or work

pieces. * Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Production Associate B Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested: * High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or six months of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least six months experience. * Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, drawings and technical descriptions.

• Ability to read tape measure and perform basic math calculations.
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed written or

oral instructions. * Excellent interpersonal skills; patience; problem solving skills; attention to detail; organization skills; accuracy; time management; basic math skills; ability to assemble products to customer specifications. * Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
