Department of Pathology | City of Hope | Duarte, CA City of Hope Medical Group is Seeking an Academic Genitourinary Pathologist to Join our Duarte Team City of Hope Medical Group is seeking an Academic Genitourinary Pathologist to join our team in Duarte. The position is a full‑time clinical faculty role at our flagship campus in Duarte, California. We expect the incumbent to cover Genitourinary Pathology and at least one additional subspecialty area such as Head and Neck, Bone and Soft Tissue, Gastrointestinal, or Breast pathology. The role includes diagnosing a wide range of genitourinary cases, teaching, mentorship, and contributing to translational research. Position Highlights Diagnostic service in Genitourinary Pathology, covering prostate, bladder, kidney, adrenal gland, and testicular specimens. Participation in another surgical pathology subspecialty area. Work with a multidisciplinary team of physicians and scientists in Southern California. Use of digital pathology for expertise across the COH national network. Development and support of translational and clinical research in genitourinary pathology. Teaching and training of fellows in our ACGME‑accredited programs. Intra‑operative consultations, on‑call rotations, and autopsy duties as part of department responsibilities. Participation in multidisciplinary tumor boards. Benefits Excellent benefits package, including a generous retirement contribution plan. Relocation assistance may be available. Base Salary Range: $310,000 to $480,000. The range listed is exclusively for base compensation for full‑time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual compensation will be adjusted for experience, training, hospital/community need and other factors. Qualifications MD or equivalent medical degree with an unrestricted California medical license. Board certification in Anatomic Pathology by the American Board of Pathology or equivalent. Fellowship training in Genitourinary Pathology. Additional subspecialty expertise highly preferred in one or more of Head and Neck, Bone and Soft Tissue, Gastrointestinal, or Breast Pathology. Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with medical and surgical oncologists and researchers. Evidence of research and publication productivity.
