Step into a rewarding contract opportunity that allows you to make a meaningful impact supporting students in diverse educational settings near Colorado Springs, CO. This full-time position runs from August 10th, 2026, through May 14th, 2027, offering an enriching experience working with elementary through transition-aged students (pre-school–6th grade, as well as ages 18–21). You’ll serve a caseload of 44 students across two welcoming school locations, delivering services designed to foster communication and academic growth.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred but not required
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Position Highlights:
- Full-time, 37.5–40 hours per week over a standard 5-day schedule
- Work with a varied age group from pre-school through young adult transition (PS–6th and 18–21)
- School hours are 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. (four days/week) and 7:15 a.m.–3:15 p.m. (one day/week)
- Provide group and individual therapy, develop IEP goals, participate in team meetings, and collaborate closely with families and staff
- Engage with a manageable caseload across just two nearby sites, ensuring focused, consistent support for every student
