This part-time role spans two to three campuses and focuses on supporting K-8th grade students in the North Chicago and Waukegan area. You’ll enjoy consistent 20-hour work weeks, with scheduling flexibility to meet your needs, whether that's two or three days per week.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or a related discipline from an accredited institution
- Active Illinois Occupational Therapist license, with registration through the Illinois Department of Financial Professional Regulations (IDFPR)
- Minimum of three years’ experience delivering occupational therapy services in a school setting
- Strong communication skills and the flexibility to work across multiple campuses
- Deep commitment to helping K-8 learners achieve their greatest potential
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services to students across two or three campuses
- Collaborate with faculty, administrators, and families to develop and adjust individualized educational plans (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress, maintain thorough documentation, and adapt interventions as necessary
- Promote inclusive classroom participation and functional independence for students with diverse needs
- Serve as a point of expertise at multiple locations, providing input and support for educational teams
