Make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners as a part-time Occupational Therapist working with an Early Childhood program for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract opportunity offers the flexibility of either a .4 or .6 FTE schedule (2 or 3 days per week), located within a supportive school community. The role focuses on helping preschool-age children achieve developmental milestones and access their educational environment fully.
Key Qualifications:
- Current certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
- Previous experience in early childhood education and/or special education strongly preferred
- Ability to travel between sites within the local preschool consortium as needed
- Collaborative mindset, with strong communication and organizational skills
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to Early Childhood students, adapting interventions for individual needs
- Complete assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress in compliance with school standards
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to support each student’s learning goals
- Participate in the IEP process and contribute as a valued team member for students with identified needs
- Travel between assigned preschool locations as required for service delivery
