Shift: 10-hour Days (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM or 10:45 AM - 7:15 PM)

Hours/Week: Varies, schedule flexibility required

Employment Type: Contract / Travel RN

Licensure/Certs: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CSFA/CSA (if applicable)

Experience: Minimum 2 years OR experience required; neuro and transplant experience preferred

What You'll Do

• Circulate in the operating room for complex surgeries, including robotic, neuro, bariatric, urology, and transplant procedures
• Assist with case setup, instrumentation, and patient monitoring
• Support sterile technique, patient safety, and documentation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including anesthesiology and surgical techs
• Follow hospital protocols and safely manage emergency situations
• Maintain compliance with all certifications and competencies, including EKG testing
• Provide flexible scheduling, including participation in holiday and weekend rotations

What You Need

Required:

• Valid Louisiana RN license or eligibility
• Minimum of 2 years of OR experience, with proficiency in robotic surgery and complex case types
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
• Ability to pass EKG competency exam

Preferred:

• Transplant or neuro surgery experience
• Experience with Meditech Expanse EMR and Alaris IV pumps
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
