Routing Supervisor (Warehouse) – Taunton, MA Schedule: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM. Responsibilities: Schedule and routes all customer orders for delivery. Accountabilities Ensure timely delivery of all customer orders. Develop and maintain customer delivery schedule based on delivery priorities. Ensure resources (truck and delivery personnel) are utilized with maximum efficiency and without costly delivery errors. Ensure customer invoices are printed and batched by delivery route. Work closely with night warehouse management to ensure proper loading of customer shipments. Communicate daily with sales representatives and warehouse management concerning customer deliveries. Requirements – Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to quickly learn new industry-specific computer systems. Ability to communicate effectively with customers, sales staff and warehouse personnel. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Education & Training High School diploma or equivalent (preferred). Proficient in MS Office applications. Prior experience using Roadnet, Shiraz & Axapta systems. Physical Demands and Environment Work is strenuous, requiring frequent lifting of objects weighing up to 40 pounds and occasional lifting of objects weighing more than 40 pounds. Work requires bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling or reaching as needed. Work requires concentration to execute routine tasks. Work in a warehouse environment with occasional exposure to odor, noise, dust, heat, cold or chemicals. Potential for accidents resulting in injury and loss of work time due to physical nature of work and exposure to hazards such as electricity, heights, operation of material conveyance vehicles and equipment. #J-18808-Ljbffr Martignetti Companies
