Shift Leader

Overview Shift Leader at Einstein Bros. Bagels is responsible for leading the store team and guaranteeing a positive guest experience. Working closely with the General Manager, the Shift Leader sets the tone for the shift, provides coaching, and manages opening and closing tasks with minimal supervision. Responsibilities Collaborate directly with the General Manager to motivate and guide team members. Provide feedback, coaching, and mentorship to team members when needed. Open and close the store with little to no supervision. Ensure the quality of food and beverages and maintain a safe, clean store environment. Assist in maintaining inventory, handling cash, and managing daily operations. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Must be 18 years or older. Ability to work varied hours and days as business dictates, including early hours (as early as 3am depending on the restaurant) and weekends. Must pass background checks as applicable with local, state, and federal law. Must possess, or be able to acquire, a ServSafe Certification prior to completion of leadership training. Possession of a current, valid, state–issued driver’s license is preferred; required only at specific locations. Benefits Flexible schedule. Paid time off after 90 days of employment.
