Job Summary We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Atlassian Administrator to manage and enhance our Atlassian ecosystem, including Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and other related tools. As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and optimizing our Atlassian suite to support the company’s project management, software development, and collaboration needs. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure the tools align with business objectives and drive operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Atlassian Suite Administration: Administer and support Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, Bitbucket, Jira Service Management, and other Atlassian products. Configure and customize Jira projects, workflows, permissions, screens, and automation rules to meet business requirements. Manage user permissions and roles across all Atlassian tools. Ensure the stability, performance, and scalability of the Atlassian platform. Optimization and Customization: Implement and manage plugins and integrations to extend functionality. Automate processes using Jira automation and scripting tools such as R4J, Checklist, and ScriptRunner. Optimize dashboards, reports, and workflows for development, IT, and business teams. Conduct routine audits of system usage, permissions, and data integrity to ensure best practices. Collaboration and Support: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior admins and other team members. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues with Atlassian products in collaboration with technical support teams. Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective solutions within the Atlassian suite. Serve as the point of contact for Atlassian tool queries and support escalations. Upgrades and Maintenance: Plan and execute Atlassian system upgrades, migrations, and maintenance activities. Ensure system availability and implement backups, disaster recovery plans, and failover strategies. Develop and maintain documentation for configurations, customizations, and workflows. Qualifications MS/BS in Software Engineering with over 5 years of experience Experience: 5+ years of hands‑on experience as an Atlassian Administrator, including Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Jira Service Management. Strong experience with configuring Jira workflows, custom fields, and permissions. Familiarity with Atlassian Cloud and Data Center deployments. Experience with automation tools, plugins (ScriptRunner, JMWE, etc.), and API integrations. Technical Skills: Expertise in Jira administration, including workflows, permissions, notifications, and dashboards. Strong proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Groovy, Python) and automation frameworks. Familiarity with database management and query languages (e.g., SQL). Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. Soft Skills: Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical solutions to non‑technical stakeholders. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Nice to Have Atlassian certifications (e.g., Jira Administrator, Confluence Administrator, etc.). Experience with CI/CD tools such as Bamboo, Jenkins, or GitLab. Knowledge of ITSM best practices and frameworks (e.g., ITIL). Compensation RAL (Gross Annual Salary) from 30K to 40K €. Variable compensation depending on personal and Corporate performances: up to 20%. Benefits: €9 meal vouchers, car parking or public transport pass, supplemental health insurance.
