Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is typically required to regularly conduct work in a controlled office environment, moving around the office as needed, sitting at a desk, using office equipment, including but not limited to a personal computer, fax machine, copier and telephone, read, write, listen, speak, and understand English, have the ability to work independently, be dependable and maintain confidential information, integrity and composure at all times.
Constant contact with individuals internal and external to the organization at all levels occurs via various methods of communication, including face-to-face discussions, electronic mail, phone calls, instant messaging, web meetings, written letters and/or faxes. On an as needed basis, there will be exposure to plant areas, which include exposure to outside weather conditions as well as loud noise from equipment and dust from production processes.
The employee is expected to be self-directed, take initiative and be persistent when appropriate to accomplish necessary duties and keep busy without prompting. Additionally, the employee is expected to be adaptable/flexible to changing work assignments, analytical, organized and detail-oriented, perform multiple tasks at once, compose correspondence and other documentation in a professional manner, express ideas constructively, actively listen to others, manage time effectively and efficiently to meet deadlines, learn and memorize procedures, display a cooperative attitude, read, understand and follow all company, job specific and safety policies/procedures, and attend/use all required training. - Price management for the company's materials in close coordination with the Shared Services department while interfacing with the ERP system.
- Assist with strategic handling of specific packaging types within the overall Packaging Category
- Coordinate continuously in the S&OP process to effectively ensure that supply of critical materials/components meets dynamic plant requirements. Strong Material Requirements Planning (MRP) skills are needed.
- Coordinate with Shared Services Buyers to expedite orders as necessary.
- Coordinate long lead time overseas order planning and import freight logistics to meet domestic component/material needs.
- Directly manage replenishment of product artwork components at third party locations and materials shared across MTI facilities.
- Report to internal stakeholders on usage analytics and other key Supply Chain metrics.
- Monitor cost driver indices and apply statistical analysis to support sourcing strategies.
- Support world-class product quality by systematically monitoring supplier KPI's and adherence to material standards, and escalating deviations for resolution.
- Actively participates in the implementation of continuous improvement processes, such as 5S, Kaizen, Daily Management Control, Standard Work and Problem Solving.

- 3-5 years of supply chain experience
- Familiarity with safety and procedural best practices in SCM.
- Experience with ERP system integrated environment.
- Oracle E-Business Suite Applications desired.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft tools - Word, Excel, Access and Materials Requirements Planning (MRP). - Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with the Procure to Pay process cycle in a manufacturing environment including knowledge of requisitions, purchase documents, quotations, receiving, supplier management, and item management business processes.
- Experience supporting a national, multi-site manufacturing business.
- Ability to quickly assimilate to company practices, structure, policy and procedure.
- Knowledge of purchasing practices meeting SOX standards is desired.
- Must have the ability to work with and maintain confidential information.
- Good management, oral and written communication, interpersonal and general business skills required, along with strong mathematical, analytical, organizational and problem solving skills. Alertness and agility in a fast-paced business environment is critical.
