Compensation: $86,000–$110,000 + 10% bonus

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join a growing, fast-paced manufacturing organization. This role will play an integral part in the month-end close process, regional accounting support, financial analysis, and management reporting.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently while collaborating effectively with plant personnel, regional leadership, and accounting teams. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide accounting support for regional operations and multiple plant locations.
• Play a significant role in the month-end close process.
• Prepare and maintain monthly accruals across multiple plant operations.
• Partner with plant personnel to ensure transactions are accurately and properly recorded.
• Work closely with regional management to analyze operating results.
• Prepare timely and accurate management reports.
• Perform balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Conduct standard and ad-hoc financial analysis.
• Identify and recommend process improvements that increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Support internal and external audit requests.
• Develop a strong understanding of the business and its operations.
• Monitor compliance with accounting policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field and CPA required.
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP.
• Hands-on experience with month-end close.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Big 4 public accounting experience.
• Master’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Manufacturing accounting experience.
• Experience supporting manufacturing clients in public accounting.
• Inventory or construction accounting experience.
