Join us as a Sr Paralegal Your main responsibilities Schindler is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Paralegal to join its legal department. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of paralegal experience in a law firm and/or corporate legal department and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role offers a unique opportunity to support a broad range of legal, compliance, litigation, and operational matters while working closely with attorneys and business stakeholders across the organization. The successful candidate will be a strong team player with excellent communication and organizational skills, a willingness to take ownership of projects, and the adaptability to manage shifting priorities and emerging deadlines. The successful candidate will play a critical role in helping the legal department support the company's operational, compliance, and litigation objectives. Key Responsibilities Construction and Compliance Support Assist with internal processes relating to construction projects funded by federal, state, or other public sources. Support compliance initiatives involving government contracting requirements, domestic preference laws, and project documentation. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather and maintain information required for public and private construction projects. Prequalification Management Coordinate and manage company responses to customer and contractor prequalification questionnaires and bid application requirements. Maintain and update company prequalification materials, databases, and supporting documentation. Work with business units to collect and verify information needed for bid submissions and customer requests. Forensic Collections and Employee Departures Coordinate forensic collection and preservation of company devices and electronic information for departing employees and other investigative matters. Work closely with internal IT, Human Resources, and legal personnel to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements. General Legal Department Support Assist attorneys with a variety of legal, compliance, operational, and corporate matters. Maintain accurate records and track key deadlines and deliverables. Support special projects and other assignments as needed. What you bring Required 4-6 years of paralegal experience in a law firm and/or corporate legal department. Experience working in a small team environment with significant responsibility and cross-functional interaction. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet competing deadlines. Experience handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and document management systems. Bachelor's degree required Paralegal Certificate Preferred Experience supporting litigation, investigations, e-discovery, or compliance matters. Familiarity with electronic data collection and legal hold processes. Experience supporting construction, government contracting, or procurement-related matters.
