Job Summary The Monitor Technician is a member of the patient care service team with primary responsibilities for monitoring the patients' heart rate and rhythms following the completion of the formalized orientation program and arrhythmia course. Requirements Preferred High School Diploma. EKG class preferred. Less than 2 years experience as Monitor Tech, Patient Care Tech or Unit Secretary. Must successfully complete arrhythmia test. Required. EKG Certification Specific Requirements Must successfully complete arrhythmia test.
