Day‑one health benefits. Overview Alpha School utilizes AI‑powered, self‑directed learning apps, freeing educators to focus on high‑impact workshops, data‑driven coaching, and mentorship of Guides. Facilitators help students reach learning targets, develop life skills, and maintain daily engagement. Responsibilities Facilitate one‑hour life‑skills workshops (public speaking, focus, feedback) for K‑8 cohorts using Alpha’s established playbook. Conduct motivational sessions that leverage student analytics and incentive structures to achieve 100% goal completion. Mentor Guides on adherence to program standards and enforcement protocols, ensuring each coaching session yields concrete next steps. Manage your own student cohort while simultaneously developing other Guides. Monitor student satisfaction scores, goal completion rates, and Guide performance data weekly to identify and address underperformance early. What You Won’t Be Doing Teaching or tutoring academic content; students complete coursework independently through apps. Creating curriculum or developing lessons; the playbook is provided. Coaching Guides on instructional methods; focus is on guiding motivation and accountability. Accepting a 99% pass rate when the standard is 100%. Serving as the campus’s endless source of comfort; authentic connections are balanced with honest feedback and meaningful consequences. Basic Requirements Willingness to work on‑campus in any of the listed locations (relocation support provided). Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in education, learning and development, coaching, youth leadership, or a comparable field. Track record of leading a team of 5 or more adults, including hiring and performance‑based termination decisions. Direct experience working with children aged 5‑14 in an educational or developmental setting. Built, launched, or significantly grew a program, team, business, school, or initiative from the ground up. Proven use of data and metrics to set weekly goals and drive decisions, not just report results. Legally authorized to work in the United States or Canada. Nice‑to‑have Requirements Master’s degree in Education, Psychology, Organizational Leadership, or a related field. Coached athletics, led wilderness or experiential programs, directed camps, or ran youth ministry at a scale that required running cohorts and measuring outcomes. Left classroom teaching to build or run programs from a different seat: EdTech, tutoring businesses, youth nonprofits, or school intervention teams. Early‑career track record of high personal performance—academic, athletic, or professional—before moving into leadership. Belief that the current education system is broken and personal investment in rebuilding it. Employment Details Full‑time, 40 hours per week.
