This role is critical to supporting cloud‑native deployments, integrations, and platform validation for major operator environments across North America. Detailed Job Description In this position, you will work on cutting‑edge 5G Core deployments with a focus on PCF/PCRF platform delivery for top‑tier telecom operators. You will support the full lifecycle of deployment activities, from cloud environment validation to installation, rollback, health checks, and RCA. The role requires hands‑on technical expertise with multi‑vendor policy solutions, strong understanding of 5G call flows, and experience in Kubernetes‑based cloud ecosystems. You will collaborate closely with engineering, cloud, and integration teams to ensure seamless deployment and interoperability of Policy Control functions. This contract offers the opportunity to work remotely while contributing to large‑scale cloud‑native telecom transformations. ✅ Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed installation MOPs and deployment documentation. Validate cloud environments including images, compute flavors, networking, and storage prerequisites. Perform application installation, upgrades, and rollback procedures as required. Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for failed deployments or configuration issues. Execute system and service health checks after installations. Integrate PCF/PCRF applications with peer network nodes (e.g., SMF, AF, CHF). Work cross‑functionally to ensure successful onboarding and operational readiness. Required Qualifications & Skills Strong hands‑on experience with Nokia PCF/PCRF or Cisco Quantum Policy Suite. Deep understanding of 5G Core architecture, interfaces, and call flows. Strong background in cloud environments, virtualization, and Kubernetes. Experience with at least one major PCRF/PCF platform, such as: Nokia Policy Controller (BroadForward / Smart Plan Suite) Cisco Quantum Policy Suite Ericsson PCRF / PCC Huawei PCRF Amdocs / Openet Policy Manager Mavenir / Affim / ZTE UPS / NetNumber TITAN Strong troubleshooting and deployment engineering skills. Ability to work independently in distributed, remote teams. ✨ Nice-to-Have Skills Exposure to cloud-native 5G Core deployments (CNFs). Hands‑on experience with Helm charts, Docker, and CI/CD tools. Familiarity with operator‑grade cloud platforms (VMware, OpenStack, Azure, AWS). Knowledge of charging & policy integration scenarios. Experience supporting large‑scale Tier‑1 operator projects.
