Lead Hardware Design Engineer

DescriptionKforce's client in Andoveer, MA is seeking a hands-on Lead Hardware Design Engineer to join a highly technical engineering team where you'll have end-to-end ownership of complex hardware designs and see your work deployed in real-world systems. In this role, you'll remain deeply hands-on while providing technical leadership across advanced high-speed digital hardware and FPGA-based systems.Key Responsibilities:* Lead the architecture, design, development, and verification of complex digital hardware systems from concept through production* Design high-speed embedded electronics featuring FPGAs, secure processing, networking, storage, and ruggedized computing solutions* Drive system-level design decisions, technical tradeoffs, and risk management for complex engineering programs* Establish engineering best practices, design standards, and process improvements across the organization* Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance to cross-functional teamsRequirements* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline* Demonstrated experience designing complex embedded digital hardware from concept through production* Strong expertise in high-speed digital design, modern memory technologies, and high-performance interconnects* Knowledge of signal integrity analysis and high-speed PCB design* Strong mentorships skills and ability to lead technically complex hardware development programs* Strong communication and collaboration skillsJob TypeDirect HireCompensation180000 - $220000
