As the CRE Team Lead, you will serve as both a strategic leader and an active producer. You will guide and mentor a talented team of commercial real estate professionals while maintaining and growing your own portfolio of high-value relationships. You will work closely with clients, developers, investors, business owners, and internal leadership to identify opportunities, structure sophisticated financing solutions, and help shape the continued growth of the commercial real estate platform. What You'll Be Doing Lead, mentor, coach, and inspire a team of commercial real estate banking professionals. Build a high-performing, collaborative, and relationship-focused team culture. Develop and execute strategies designed to grow the commercial real estate lending portfolio. Maintain and expand relationships with developers, investors, commercial real estate owners, and other key clients. Personally source, structure, negotiate, and manage complex commercial real estate lending opportunities. Identify new business opportunities and strategically expand the bank's presence throughout the Sacramento and surrounding markets. Partner with credit, underwriting, treasury management, and executive leadership to deliver exceptional client solutions. Provide guidance and leadership throughout the lending process, from initial relationship development through closing and ongoing portfolio management. Monitor portfolio performance, asset quality, risk exposure, and overall relationship profitability. Ensure lending activities align with established credit policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management standards. Help recruit, develop, and retain top commercial banking and CRE talent. Serve as a visible leader in the business community and actively participate in networking and relationship-building opportunities. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is an accomplished commercial real estate banking professional who combines strong technical knowledge with natural leadership ability and a genuine passion for building relationships. We're looking for someone with: Significant experience in Commercial Real Estate lending, commercial banking, or CRE relationship management . Proven experience managing and growing commercial lending portfolios. Strong knowledge of commercial real estate lending structures, underwriting principles, and credit analysis. Experience working with a variety of property types, financing structures, and complex credit relationships. Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and team development abilities. A successful history of business development and relationship expansion. Strong connections within the Sacramento or Northern California commercial real estate market are highly valued. The ability to think strategically while remaining actively involved in day-to-day business development and client management. Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills. A strong understanding of credit quality, portfolio management, risk, and regulatory expectations. A bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field is preferred, though equivalent experience will be considered. Why This Opportunity?
