Project Manager

Overview We are seeking a Project Manager II to support execution of large-scale transmission and infrastructure projects across the Carolinas East region. This role sits within a high-volume portfolio focused on interconnection, large load projects, and grid infrastructure upgrades. The ideal candidate is proactive, curious, and comfortable navigating complex projects with multiple stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Manage execution of large transmission and infrastructure projects from initiation through completion Coordinate across internal stakeholders, engineering teams, and business units to ensure alignment on scope, schedule, and deliverables Support planning and tracking of project timelines, milestones, and deliverables Monitor project budgets, cash flow, and forecasting to ensure financial alignment Identify risks, troubleshoot issues, and proactively drive solutions Lead and participate in recurring project meetings, providing clear updates and action items Ensure projects stay aligned with scope, value, and strategic objectives Support transmission-related work including line projects, interconnection efforts (solar, battery, generators), and large load initiatives (data centers, manufacturing) Required Qualifications 2–5+ years of project management or related experience Strong communication skills with the ability to work across multiple teams and stakeholders Demonstrated ability to take initiative, learn quickly, and operate independently without heavy direction Experience managing schedules, timelines, and competing priorities Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, or financial tracking within projects Comfortable asking questions, seeking clarity, and driving progress forward Preferred Qualifications Background in engineering, design, or technical field Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline Experience supporting infrastructure, utilities, transmission, or energy-related projects Familiarity with interconnection projects, large-scale infrastructure, or capital projects Exposure to project controls is helpful but not required Focused on large transmission, interconnection, and infrastructure upgrade projects Opportunity to join a growing team with multiple openings due to expansion Ideal Candidate Profile Self-starter who doesn’t require hand-holding Naturally curious and asks thoughtful questions Strong communicator who can keep projects moving across multiple stakeholders Technical mindset (engineering or design background is a plus, not a requirement) Able to connect the dots across scope, schedule, and financials #J-18808-Ljbffr Brooksource
