Lead Desktop Engineer Job Opportunity
Role: Lead Desktop Engineer
- Leading a small team across all L1-L3 issues
- Spending time working on mission-critical infrastructure projects
- Automating anything and everything
- Continuing to expand both their on-prem and cloud storage offering
- Working across different OS
- 6+ years of experience as a Desktop Engineer/Systems Administrator within financial services - ideally for a trading firm
- Some experience leading a small team and being the contact point to the business
- Strong knowledge of automation (e.g., PowerShell)
- Good understanding of the Windows Infrastructure stack (Server, O365, AD)
- Experience with VMware or Hyper V
- Familiarity with storage is a plus (both on-prem and cloud)
- A Computer Science Degree is heavily advantageous but not essential
- Cutting-edge tech and ownership of multiple greenfield projects
- No red tape
- A friendly/collaborative environment

- Personal projects on Fridays!
