Alliance Steel, Inc. is looking for a Machine Operator to join our team. This position qualifies for benefits, paid vacation & holidays, and other great perks!
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain a safe work environment
- Abide by standard work procedures and job safety standards
- Meet quality expectations for all output produced
- Perform a variety of manual tasks in varying temperatures for extended periods of time, which may include lifting light to heavy materials, climbing, standing, squatting, and bending
- Attention to detail is a must
- Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Additional duties and/or projects may be assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to lift 50lbs., bend, squat, kneel and or stand for extended periods of time
- Must be comfortable working outside in all weather conditions
- Able to follow all safety procedures
Education and Experience:
- Previous experience working an industrial, construction, or general labor job
- Additional education and/or certification in manufacturing
- Forklift & Crane experience a plus
- Must be proficient in reading a tape measure, angle finder, and/or micrometers
- Must understand decimal points
- 10 key is experience is a plus
- Must have some kind of machine operating experience
- Must meet ASTM F2413-18 standards
- Must be full-leather (no fabric)
- Must have a built-in Metatarsal Guard (MT)
