Responsibilities Position Scope: Provide technical support for networking technologies by administrating, managing, setting up, maintaining, and repairing network systems and components. Resolve and troubleshoot malfunctions in networks, network components, phone, and camera systems. Apply systems analysis techniques, including consulting with users, to determine hardware, software, and system specifications. Design, document, test, create, or modify computer programs related to machine operating systems. Develop and/or implement efficient and cost‑effective software solutions for specific problems. Prepare manuals and user guides for training purposes and user support. Troubleshoot day‑to‑day software and hardware problems and resolve them promptly. Recommend new software and hardware systems to management; work with UHS‑BH Corp IT on research, bids, and purchase orders. Upgrade software solutions and hardware systems to address emerging issues. Maintain, monitor, and coordinate the use and installation of software and hardware per company policy. Keep up‑to‑date with the latest programming techniques and technologies. Continuously work toward improving system performance. Collaborate closely with management and other teams to achieve organizational goals. Serve as the facility liaison with Corporate IT. Provide PC network support to the user community. Function as a help desk for the facility. Install and troubleshoot PC equipment. Resolve users' software‑related issues within the scope of assigned security protocol authorized by BH‑CORP‑IT. Maintain software/hardware inventories and document all PC systems and software. Participate in monthly IT webinars. Assist with special projects. Perform routine maintenance on PC equipment. Provide first‑level support for phone systems. Provide first‑level support for closed‑circuit television systems. Offer off‑hour support as needed. Order and update company cell phones. Provide first‑level support for network printers. Qualifications Essential Functions: An individual must be able to perform each essential function of the job satisfactorily. Education and Experience: Associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree in information systems or a related major. One or more years of experience in a Microsoft Windows environment with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
