Network Operations Center Engineer

NOC Engineer - Cisco Partner - St. Petersburg (On-Site) - Up to $95,000 We're working with a leading Cisco Partner in the Tampa Bay Area who are looking to expand their Network Operations Centre (NOC) team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated NOC Engineer to support enterprise customers, monitor critical network infrastructure and resolve technical issues within a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Responsibilities Monitor customer network infrastructure across LAN, WAN and Wireless environments Respond to alerts, incidents and service requests in line with SLAs Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues Escalate complex incidents to senior engineering teams where required Configure and support Cisco routing and switching environments Support firewall, VPN and wireless technologies Perform routine maintenance, upgrades and patching Produce accurate technical documentation and incident reports Work closely with customers to provide exceptional technical support Participate in an on-call rota where required Required Experience Experience supporting enterprise network environments Cisco Routing & Switching (Catalyst and ISR) TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and VLANs BGP, OSPF and STP VPN technologies Experience using network monitoring tools Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills Previous experience working within a NOC, MSP or IT Support environment Excellent communication and customer service skills CCNA or CCNP Enterprise Fortinet or Palo Alto Firewalls SolarWinds, PRTG or LogicMonitor Basic scripting using PowerShell or Python Competitive salary of $75,000-$95,000 Annual performance bonus 401(k) with company contribution Paid Cisco certifications and ongoing training Clear progression into Senior Network Engineer or Network Architect positions #J-18808-Ljbffr Intec Select
