Exercise Physiologist

Anticipated End Date: 2026-06-29 Position Title: Exercise Physiologist Location and Work Schedule: This role enables associates to work virtually full-time, with the exception of required in‑person training sessions. Work schedule: Monday—Friday, 10:30AM–7:00PM EST. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office. Candidates not within a reasonable commuting distance will not be considered, unless an accommodation is granted as required by law. Responsibilities Collaborate with nurse case managers in managing disease‑management health goals of members. Implement primary care physicians’ exercise recommendations, providing safe and effective exercise instruction and guidance. Provide member health coaching, education, assessment and support of behavioral changes to promote self‑management of chronic conditions. Provide members with education materials related specifically to member score condition. Minimum Requirements BS/BA degree in exercise science, exercise physiology, kinesiology, physical therapy or physical education. Minimum of 3years experience as an exercise specialist, exercise physiologist or fitness instructor/trainer developing exercise prescriptions for special populations; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. Minimum of 1year cardiac rehab, pulmonary rehab, and physical therapy experience in a clinical setting preferred. Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences Certification by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) as a Health Fitness Instructor. MS in a related field. Membership in American Society of Exercise Physiologists.
