Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Oncology to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide acute care nursing services on the surgical oncology unit
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care
• Float to like units within scope as needed
• Utilize Epic for accurate documentation and charting
• Ensure patient safety and adhere to safety protocols
• Participate in patient and family education to foster self-management

Qualifications

• Active CO or Compact RN license in good standing
• 2 years of acute care nursing experience
• AHA BLS certification required
• Experience in a teaching hospital environment preferred
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Ability to handle a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6
