Security Researcher

Seeking a Maryland Licensed Threat Researcher, the remote position will focus on tracking advanced persistent threats (APTs) and leveraging global datasets to deliver actionable intelligence while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key responsibilities Leverage global datasets to track malicious cyber actors and build AI-assisted methods for threat detection and intelligence production Define and implement techniques for tracking sophisticated adversaries, delivering actionable threat intelligence to customers Enhance threat hunting operations through collaboration with research, engineering, and data science teams, while exploring new data sources Required qualifications Proven experience in threat analysis and technical security research, particularly in tracking nation-state malicious infrastructure Fluency in advanced threat hunting methodologies and the ability to derive actionable intelligence from complex data sets Experience with large-scale data analysis platforms and tools such as PySpark Knowledge of telemetry collection and analysis, including OSINT and threat hunting tooling Strong communication skills to convey complex technical findings to diverse audiences
