Medical Surgical Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Location: Ontario, OH

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift from 19:00 to 07:00, 3x12-hour shifts.

Job Description: The Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) will provide care to patients in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating clinical excellence and compassion. This role requires a nurse who is flexible and willing to float across multiple campuses as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patient conditions, interpreting dysrhythmias.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Manage dysrhythmias and provide emergency care using rapid response and code teams.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding healthcare needs.
• Practice isolation precautions and maintain patient safety during care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Current RN license (Ohio or compact).
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
• Must have recent travel experience within the last year; first-time travelers are not accepted.
