Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) - Full-Time or Part-Time

Job Summary:

CHE Behavioral, a multispecialty group of licensed professionals dedicated to increasing access to mental health services and reducing the stigma of mental health conditions, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team. As a fully licensed mental health provider, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of older adults and their families. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with CHE Behavioral, you will work part-time or full-time in a variety of settings, including long-term care and rehabilitation centers.

About the Role:

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will provide high-quality clinical services to improve the quality of life for our older adult patients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting initial assessments and developing individualized treatment plans

• Providing individual, group, and family therapy sessions

• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care

• Documenting patient progress and maintaining accurate records

• Participating in team meetings and staff development activities

• Staying current with industry developments and best practices

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or related field

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the State of New York

• Strong assessment and treatment skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
