A wide range of home care job opportunities are available for individuals who provide: Assisted living Elderly care Personal care Specialized home care (including Alzheimer's, dementia, palliative, end-of-life care, fall prevention, etc.) Caregiver Job Duties Professional senior care duties will vary depending on the needs and requests of clients and families. Common home care duties and caregiver job descriptions may include: Assistance with other activities of daily living Companionship and emotional support Personal care assistance (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, etc.) Laundry and light housekeeping Meal planning and preparation Medication reminders Caregiver Qualifications Your enthusiasm and passion for building client relationships are as important as your professional qualifications.
