About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a 50-day locum tenens assignment in Nebraska, starting Sep 1, 2026. This role involves providing comprehensive primary care services, including physical examinations, acute and chronic-care management, immunizations, and medical record documentation, within a full-time schedule.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Applicant-file reviews
• Intake physical examinations
• Medical assessments
• Treatment of minor and episodic illnesses
• Acute and chronic-care management
• Prescribing controlled and non-controlled medications
• Administering immunizations
• Providing referrals
• Performing first aid and CPR
• Delivering health education
• Maintaining medical-record documentation
• Participating in accommodation and applicant-review meetings
• Conducting monthly reporting
• Coordinating with Center departments
• Participating in applicable training and quality-improvement activities

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Family Medicine required
